Some brief remarks and reflections on previous post

In my last post I described some of my memories about EI.

It occurred to me that EI was religion "outside the box". It seemed to me that surely this was more like what Christianity was supposed to be like.

Not boring, for one thing, and sterile. I grew up in the Episcopal Church. It wasn't completely boring, nor all together meaningless. But compared to EI...

EI was exciting! They were helping the needy. They were saying stimulating things that made me think, that made me feel like I was thinking really deep. It made me stretch my brain cells, think abstractly. And it was difficult, but interesting. It was more interesting than school. (That's not hard to believe is it, sadly.)
